      Education at Christ the King

Education is not limited to Sunday school. We have adult classes, Bible Studies, Bible Study circles, and JAM. Vacation Bible School is held in the summer. Watch for details, or contact the church office. Two non-denominational groups meet here also.
JAM stands for "Jesus And Me." CTK uses the Workshop Rotation Model for Sunday School. For details about this program, and the way it is used in many different churches, visit the website www.rotation.org. When you come back to this page, scroll down to see some pictures of how the rotation model looks at Christ the King.

This site has information about the Workshop Rotation Model (which is how they came up with 'WoRM"!

Sunday school is in session from the Sunday after Labor Day to the Sunday before Memorial Day every year. (We take breaks for Thanksgiving, Easter, and Christmas.) There are two Sunday school hours: 9:30 and 10:30 AM
Here's what was done at CTK: Volunteers spent the summer reworking classroom spaces.  One room is now Savior's Cinema (complete with popcorn machine!) All the pictures here are thumbnails--click on the picture to see a bigger picture, then use the BACK button to return to this page.                      popcorn machine.jpg (160305 bytes)
Children (and adults) view movies of Bible stories here. The room is also used for Mini Bible College for adults and for meetings and lectures.
