Sunday Morning Bible Study

Sunday mornings at 10:30am in the Conference Room.  Weekly sessions explore the meaning of Biblical texts for the original writer, and audience and how they apply to today. No preparation is required. Can't be there every Sunday?  No problem. Each session stands alone and you can jump in at any time. Don't have a Bible?  We have one that you can borrow - and the key texts are part of your free study booklet!  Think the Bible doesn't have much to say to us in today’s world?  Think again! You might be surprised!

Tuesday Coffee and Conversation

Each week we will dig into the three lessons (and occasionally the Psalm) assigned for the coming week’s worship.  On occasion, we may invite a special speaker or have a special seasonal program.  We’ll have some conversation about that.  There, of course will be plenty of coffee, juice, water and an occasional snack.

Wednesday Book Group

This group meets each Wednesday (September – May) at 11:00 a.m. to read and discuss books that focus both on current spiritual issues as well as historical religious themes.  We have read books by Rudolph Bultman, Karl Bart, Deitrich Bonhoeffer, Thomas Aquinas and others like them.  Topics can be a bit challenging at times, but we wade into them together.   New members are always welcome.

Women’s Circle/Bible Study

Contact the church office for more information.  We also have a Women’s Fall Retreat each September.
